Whether you have new managers or veterans on your team, sometimes we all need to review the basics. The goal is to enable learners to understand their roles as a manager, and how they can perform their duties to their highest potential. In this session we will cover characteristics and skills of a manager, organizational behaviors, advice for new managers, and tips on managing talent. By the end of the session, learners will understand personal and professional demands of being a manager, develop skills to manage both people and processes and resolve conflict quickly. This course is recommended as an introductory to leadership courses.
