BEST, Inc. is an authorized IPC Training Center and offers the IPC-A-610 Certified Instructor Program. Students who complete the program are considered Class "A" Instructors and are qualified to teach the 2 day Worker Proficiency training and certification programs at their facility. Instructors are certified for 24 months, and then must attend a 16-hour re-certification class to maintain their certification status.     COURSE OVERVIEW The IPC J-STD-001 ES training combines the Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies along with various elements to meet the standards required of NASA suppliers. Suppliers to NASA are required to have workers trained and certified to this IPC J-STD-001 ES course for Specialist (CIS) level training. The IPC J-STD-001 ES Course can be added as an optional Module 6 to the IPC J-STD-001 Training & Certification Program.     COURSE OVERVIEW The IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) course is an intensive page-by-page review of the IPC-A-610 document and a review of basic instructor skills. Upon completion of this course, the trainer will be able to correctly determine "accept/reject" criteria for Class 1, 2, and 3 products based on the acceptability requirements of the IPC-A-610. Instructor candidates who successfully complete the written examinations are certified as instructors by IPC and given the structional materials required to conduct the IPC-A-610 Cerified IPC Specialist (CIS) course.
